How do I get my personalized booklist?

1. Instructions on how to get your personalized booklist can be found here.
2. Under the "Textbooks" menu, select "Personalized Book List".
3. Enter your Student ID, select Term, and click "Get Booklist".
4. Click "Begin Price Comparison".

My personalized booklist isn't showing up. What do I do now?

1. Under the "Textbooks" menu, select "Order Textbooks".
2. Select your Term, Department, Course, & Section. Repeat if you have more than one course.
3. Click "Compare Prices on These Course Materials".
4. Click "Begin Price Comparison".

What is the difference between a required and optional textbook?

• A required textbook is a book your professor has chosen which contains necessary readings and materials for successful completion of the course.
• An optional book is supplemental material chosen to assist in your studies, however is not mandatory for the course. These can include study guides and partial solutions manuals.

Why is there a used price on the booklist if there aren't any used books?

• Our database creates a new and used price for every title whether used copies are available or not. This is an automatic default setting that cannot be changed. Some items such as special packages, coursepacks, and lab manuals are never available as used.

My textbook is unavailable. What do I do now?

• Once the book is in stock and available to order, the status should change on our website. Feel free to contact us to check about the status of your book.

Can I purchase an access code or ebook for my class?

• Available access codes can be found here.

Why are textbooks arranged alphabetically by author?

• Find out why here.

What is your refund policy?

• Our refund policy can be found here.
• All refunds are at the discretion of MacEwan Bookstores.

Do you take credit cards?

• Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX.

Do you take cheques?

• If you would like to make a purchase using a cheque, you must present your Student ID.

Why do I have to pay for a bag?

• By encouraging people to reuse bags, we are aiming to reduce usage of single-use plastic bags and the litter associated with them.

How do I change or cancel my order?

What are your shipping rates?

• Our shipping rates can be found here.

How do I return my order? Do I need a special return label?

• You do not require a special return label. Please send your return items back to:

When will I receive my order?

• Orders received today will be shipped within 2 business days via UPS.
• Your order should arrive within 3-7 business days depending on location.
• If your book is located at one of other campuses, an additional 24 hours may be needed before we can ship your book.
• Once your order has shipping you will receive an email with tracking information from UPS.

When will my order be ready for pick up?

• Once your order is ready for pick up, we will send you a confirmation email notifying you that your order is ready.

Where do I pick up my books?

• The Mail Room is in Rm 6-012. If you have problems finding it, please ask us at the bookstore customer service desk and we will be happy to give you directions.
• Please note that they are open from 8:30 am to 4 pm.
