This painting was created with one thought in mind: showcase the diverse and inclusive Macewan community in as bold and colourful of a way as possible.

The Griffin not only represents power and strength from a mythological perspective, but it also helps reminds us of the power and strength we have when we come together. This piece was commissioned by the Office of Human Rights, Diversity, and Equity as part of MacEwan's Downtown Campus Block Party (2022).
